Childhood
Early Childhood is defined as birth to 5 years old. Children learn all sorts of marvelous communication skills during time because this is the time when their brains are the most malleable. Therefore, it is absolutely critical that children who are behind in their developmental milestones (see links below!) get the support they need!
Below are links that provide information on developing speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, literacy/book skills, social communication, nonverbal communiction, stuttering in early childhood, challenging behaviors, and fun games and resources!* Have fun exploring!
If you are unsure whether your child would benefit from speech/language therapy, don’t wait and see, come see me!
